Various banging sounds, recorded in my garage. Identifiable sounds include drumming on the concrete garage floor with a length of wooden dowel, and dragging various objects across the floor.
A wooden door with rusty hinges being opened and closed very, very slowly (and then more quickly later in the recording). Mic is very close to the creaking hinge and the sound is extremely clean and direct.
A high pitched door hinge from a small wooden door squeak upon closing. Recorded in a small stairwell in an office complex so no big reverb/echo effect.
This is a mercedes e320 diesel driving off from outside. The quality is a little poor, the sound is taken with my old minidisc recorder about 9 years ago. The mercedes is built in 2000.
Recorded in 2011 while coming out of the thurston lava tube in volcanoes national park on the island of hawaii. There was an incredible phasing sound that i missed while trying to get the recorder out, but you can hear a little at the beginning.
Old electromechanical clock ticking "yantar'". Electromechanical watches "amber", orlovsky watch factory, were made in 1977, the housing is made of wood, quartz movement. --recorded mono with sennheiser mkh40.
Sound of my binger wristwatch ticking. I used phase cancellation to get rid of the noise floor except for the ticks. At lower volumes it sounds very convincing. I draped the watch over my microphone - the blue yeti pro.
